Around noon on May 15th, mortar shells were fired by the military junta’s naval forces based in Ohn Pin Kwin village, despite no active fighting in the area. One of the shells struck and exploded in a house in Zardi village.

The explosion killed two siblings, 16-year-old Mg Zaw Myo Aung and 11-year-old Ma Pwang Pwang.
