According to local news sources, shootings occurred at the entrance toll gate of Thanbyuzayat town on the Mawlamyine-Ye road in Mon State, around 8:00 pm on March 21.
A resident also reported that military junta troops stationed around the toll gate of Thanbyuzayat Township, near Kunhlar village, Mudon Township, were fired upon by revolutionary forces.
IMNA has yet to confirm whether the shooting was carried out by any armed resistance group and the circumstances of any injuries.
