Rohingya activists have reported that the military junta bombed the Rohingya village of Tada in Minbya Township, Rakhine State, in the early morning hours of March 18.
According to initial reports, a sudden bomb attack on the Rohingya village of Tada around 1:00 a.m. on March 18 resulted in the deaths of nearly 30 Rohingya civilians.
A person aiding the Rohingya cause stated, “We heard that people were struck by jets while they were sleeping. Initial reports indicate that around 25 to 26 people have lost their lives, with many more sustaining injuries. Those with severe injuries are currently receiving medical treatment.”
The village comprises over three hundred houses and serves as a refuge for both local residents and Rohingya refugees from nearby villages.
Rakhine State, including Pauktaw, Kyauktaw, Mrauk-U Township, Minbya, Myebon, and Ponnagyun, has been under the control of the Rakhine Army AA. The military junta has been conducting almost daily mortar shell and air attacks in these areas.
