More than 100 houses in Lelthit village, Tanintharyi Township, Tanintharyi Region, were burned down by military junta troops, according to the Karen National Union (KNU) Myeik-Dawei District Public Relations and Information Department.

A military column of junta troops entered Lelthit village and set fire to civilian houses on February 13.
As the junta column remains stationed inside the village, local residents have been unable to return to inspect the damage to their homes due to security concerns.
The KNU Myeik-Dawei District Public Relations and Information Department stated that no clashes had occurred in Lelthit village and that the village is not related to any military activity.
