On the night of September 19, drug were seized from a woman in Kamarwet Town, Kawpihtaw Village, Mudon Township, Mon State.
According to a drug report from Kamarwet Regional Police Station, at around 7:00 pm yesterday, a 56-year-old woman named Daw Win, riding a motorcycle from Doma village to Kawpihtaw village, waited and checked at the entrance to Kawpihtaw village.
During the search, they discovered and confiscated 887 drug valued at 2,610,000 kyats in local currency. These tablets were found wrapped in a black plastic bag inside the turban worn by Daw Win.
Daw Win, caught with drugs, has been charged under the Drug and Psychotropic Law section at the Kamarwet Area Police Station.
