Ye Blue Group set fire to SAC Military Council Camp in Ye Township

-

The Ye Blue Group announced raided a SAC military council camp near the Khan Thin Bridge between Ayutaung Village and Zonenatha Village, Ye Township, Mon State, at around 7:00 a.m. on March 10, and set it on fire.

“Our team was able to enter and seize a military council camp next to the Khan Thin bridge between Ayutaung village and Zonenatha village at exactly 7 o’clock this morning. We were able to burn down the camp,” said the Ye Blue Group leader.

At the time of the raid on the camp, there were about 15 members of the SAC military council camp present. It is believed that up to 6 members of the SAC military council were either wounded or killed, and the remaining SAC members escaped, according to the Ye Blue Group.

“We could confirm only 5 or 6 casualties on their side. The rest of the people fled. We fired first and they did not dare fire back,” said the Ye Blue leader.

The Ye Blue group was not  able to seize any weapons, and they retreated when the SAC Military Council began to fire heavy weapons.

Independent Mon News Agency has not been able to independently confirm the number of SAC Military Council casualties.

On March 7, the Ye Blue group also attacked the checkpoint of SAC Military council on the Ye River Bridge on the Ye-Dawei highway with a drone.

The Ye Blue group often attacks SAC military council battalion camps and checkpoints in Ye Township, and frequently shoots to kill.
