U Aung Myo Tun, Deputy Chief of Police from Mudon reported his force seized drugs from an individual who was walking in the government’s rubber garden at Thein Khong ward, Mudon MyoMa (4), in the evening of January 23.
“The men from our station got some useful information. While on patrol, they came upon an individual who was carrying 96 pills of meth. We have been keeping our eyes open and making arrests,” he said.
According to police records, Kyaw Zin Thu (32), who resides in the Thein Khong ward was found to be in possession of illegal drugs and charged under the section 19(K) of the Criminal Procedure Code MY(P)6/2021.
“There have been more and more cases and more and more arrests. It’s good to make arrests like that. The young boys have lost their future due to this drug. I want to say, arrest the rest of the big dealers,” said Ko Lwin Maung who lives in Mudon Town.
