Flooding in Bilin Township as River Levels Rise

Heavy rainfall in Mon State’s Bilin Township has caused the Bilin River to overflow, leading to flooding in several low-lying areas. As of the evening of July 25, the river’s water level reached 1055 centimeters, surpassing the concern level of 1022 centimeters. 

Local residents and social rescue teams report that the flooding has forced the temporary relocation of approximately 80 people.
