Nearly 30 Rohingyas were killed in an airstrike by the military junta on the Rohingya village of Thada in Minbya township, Rakhine State, around 1:00 am on March 18, according to the Rohingya activists.
“While people were sleeping, bombs were dropped from a jet plane by military junta. About 25 to 26 people died, and many others were injured. Those who are seriously injured are also receiving medical treatment,” said a person assisting the Rohingya.
The village comprises more than three hundred houses, serving as a shelter for both local residents and Rohingya refugees from neighboring villages.
