Two civilians were killed and seven others injured following airstrikes, drone bombings and landmine explosions carried out by military junta forces in Karen National Union (KNU)-controlled areas, according to local sources.
The incidents took place in Kler Lwee Htoo District, including Muu Township, Ler Doh (Kyaukkyi) Township and Saw Htee Township.
On February 7, two junta jet fighters dropped four bombs on Pyin Yae village and nearby farmland in Saw Htee Township. A 22-year-old man, Min Ko Naing, was killed in the attack. Three other residents, Nay Lin Oo, 30; Htun Htun Oo, 45; and U San Lwin, 46, were injured.

Earlier, on February 3, Light Infantry Battalion 307 carried out a drone strike on Thit Phyu Seik village in Mone Township. A 48-year-old man, U Zaw Gyi, was killed in the bombing.
Three others, a one-month-old infant, Daw Thida Win, 40, and Ma Pu Toe Ma, 16, were injured in the same attack.
In a separate incident on February 5, a man from Kwee Doh village was injured after stepping on a landmine allegedly planted by junta forces.
Drone and air attacks in the affected townships also damaged at least six civilian houses and one religious hall, according to local reports.
Residents say airstrikes and explosive remnants continue to pose serious risks to civilians in KNU-controlled areas.
