Military junta troops burned down more than 60 houses in Mindat village, Thayetchaung township, Myeik- Dawei District, Tanintharyi region.
On November 23, military junta troops set fire to Mindat village on the Myeik- Dawei road in Thayetchaung township, destroying 61 houses.
On November 22, military junta troops entering Thayetchaung Township clashed with joint resistance forces between Weayit and Kamyaing villages.
The day after the clash, on November 23, military junta troops set fire to the houses in Mindat Village.
The Karen National Union (KNU) in Myeik–Dawei District stated that the military junta troops burned down Mindat Village, which was not involved in the fighting.
During October, military junta troops of about 200 soldiers entered along the Myeik–Dawei road, leading to a series of clashes with joint resistance forces.
Along the road where the fighting took place, military junta troops repeatedly set fire to the homes of civilians in the villages.

According to Dawei Watch, on October 23, the military junta troops burned 39 houses in Laba Village, and on November 9, they burned more than 40 houses in Chaukchaung Village; on November 12, they burned about three houses in Theinkone Village and one house in Katwe Village.
