A group of Mon singers will perform LIVE tonight for the fundraising with the objective of supporting for COVID-19 prevention and support for natural disasters.
The performance will take place at Royal Hinthar Hotel, Mon State’s Capital Mawlamyine at 7 PM today, and the event is conducted by a joint group of Mon Affair Association, Mon Entrepreneurs Association, Mon Writer Association, Mon Music Association and Shin Saw Pu – Mon Women of Prowess Organization. The Live-Show will go live-streaming via platforms of Mon News Agency, Hinthar Media, Mon Entrepreneurs Association and Suvarna Citylife.
“We will organize this performance event and it is to do fundraising for the support against pandemic. It will be just a group of signers and band ..with no audience. There will be also a session of educational promotion to give education to the public on how to prevent from the COVID-19 as well as encouraging them to get the COVID-19 vaccine. We will also encourage donors from the country and abroad for the donation. It is the plan for every one to provide donation and provide it to the committee of COVID-19 prevention and support for the disasters in all Mon area”, said Nai Banyar San, vice-chair of Mon Affair Association (MAA).
The MAA will collaborate with civil organizations and distribute foods and medical supplies to rural areas, per the plan.
