The Mon Writers Association convened its 4th annual conference on January 31 at the Ramannya Nikaya Way Lu Wonn Monastery in Pa Auk village, Mawlamyine Township. Key figures from the Mon Writers Association, including organizers, monks, nuns, and local residents, attended the event.

The Mon Writers Association holds a major discussion event every two years, and this tradition is expected to continue in the coming years.
This morning, the association hosted a large discussion session, followed in the afternoon by the 9th annual celebration of Mon Writers’ Day.
As part of this year’s Mon Writers’ Day celebration, a literary discussion titled “The Benefits of Learning the Mon Language” was held at 2 PM, emphasizing the significance of Mon literature and its impact.
The Mon Writers Association was temporarily established in 2017, and since 2018, it has organized large-scale discussions and events at Dhat Kyeik Monastery in Ka Mar Wet Town.
