Partial liberation alone cannot ensure the freedom of all; true freedom can only be achieved when everyone is liberated, according to a statement released by the Pa-Oh National Liberation Organization (PNLO), Pa-Oh National Federal Council (PNFC), and New Mon State Party – Anti Dictatorship (NMSP-AD).
This statement was included in a congratulatory message released yesterday by the three groups, in response to the successful capture of the Northeastern Military Headquarters in Lashio, Northern Shan State, led by the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) and the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA).
In line with their belief that true freedom can only be fully realized when everyone is liberated, the three groups stated, “Your cause is our cause; we are united in the struggle for the liberation of all.”
The PNLO, PNFC, and NMSP-AD affirmed their commitment to continue fighting alongside other ethnic resistance groups and the broader public to dismantle the military dictatorship and build a federal union that aligns with the aspirations of all ethnic peoples.
