The Karen National Union (KNU) has announced that a woman was killed in a drone attack by the military junta’s Welkali 315 Artillery Battalion in Kyainseikgyi Township, Karen State.
Naw Kot Kaw, 53, of Lutshan village, was killed by a bullet in the head when the military junta’s Welkali 315 Artillery Battalion fired a drone bomb at around 5:30 a.m. on February 16.
In addition, at around 7:30 in the morning, the military junta’s Welkali 315 Artillery Battalion fired another bomb with a drone, which exploded in a rubber farm in Kyainseikgyi Township, Sanpya village. Naw Ta Bay was hit by a bombshell in his pelvis and was seriously injured.
