In Mon State, Thaton Township, Kantawni Village, the Abbot (head of the monastery), and local residents jointly requested the military junta troops leave the monastery compound.
The 410th Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 410 has been stationed in the village monastery for over 40 days.
