In northern part of Ye Township in Kanin Kamor village, the military clashes occurred between the SAC military junta army, and the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and the Albino Tiger (a local People Defense Force) Joint Forces, in evening of yesterday.
The information about this armed conflict was releases by No. 3 Sub-military region, Southern Region of Burma operated by KNLA.
On August 28, at around 4:00 p.m., the KNLA and PDF joint forces waited and attacked the SAC military junta column with about 150 troops.
The violent clash lasted for 45 minutes, resulting in 7 deaths and 8 severe injuries on the side of the SAC military junta army. It has been reported that one member of the Revolutionary Joint Forces got injured but it posed no danger to his life.
The Independent Mon News Agency has been unable to independently verify the numbers of casualties and death on the SAC military junta side.
