RMA Holds Graduation for First Basic Drone Training Course

The graduation ceremony for the Rāmañña Mon Army’s (RMA) Basic Drone Training Course, Batch (1), was held on January 24 at a location in a liberated area. A total of 15 trainees successfully completed the course.

Those in attendance included NMSP-AD Chair Nai Zeya, RMA Commander-in-Chief Nai Jalon Htaw/ Nai Jalom Htaw, Vice Chair Nai Layi Gakaung, Secretary Nai Banyer Lei, members of the military committee, officers, and rank-and-file soldiers.

Further details regarding the graduation ceremony and the current military situation at RMA bases are still being sought from the group’s spokesperson, Nai Layi Gakaung.

Previously, on September 4, the Mon State New Party’s anti-dictatorship armed wing, the Rāmañña Mon Army (NMSP-AD/RMA), also held a graduation ceremony for its Close-Quarters Battle (CQB) Training Course, Batch (2).
