The Mon State Revolutionary Force (MSRF), an armed resistance group, has completed the graduation ceremony for its third basic military training course in a liberated area, according to MSRF sources.
The ceremony was held on November 30 at the MSRF battalion headquarters.
Leaders who attended and delivered speeches included Nai Kasauh Mon, Chairperson of the Mon State Federal Council (MSFC) Administrative Committee; Colonel Nai Dragon, Battalion Commander of the MSRF; Commander Saw Darko of People’s Defense Force Tactics 33; and Colonel Nai Soe Win of the Ramonnya Mon Army (RMA).
Officials and members from various allied forces, including battalions under PDF Tactics 33, Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) Battalion 27, the Ramonnya Mon Army, the Mon State Defense Force (MSDF), and the 1815 Morley Q Drone Battalion, also joined the event.
The third basic military training course, led by the MSRF, was the first joint basic training conducted for new recruits from both MSRF and PDF Tactics 33. The trainees underwent more than two months of military instruction.
