The Arakan Army (AA) has taken control of four ARSA camps near Buthidaung and Maungdaw townships in Rakhine State after several days of clashes. ARSA, which had fortified its positions in the area, was forced to retreat following the fighting that began on October 19.

In addition to the camps, AA seized weapons and ammunition allegedly supplied by the military junta. Some ARSA members were also killed during the operation.
AA reported ongoing efforts to clear areas where ARSA, RSO, and ARA militants have established bases, often with the support of the military junta. These groups are accused of terrorizing civilians through kidnappings, extortion, and murder.
AA further claims that ARSA, RSO, and ARA militants are working in coordination with the military junta in attacks against AA positions.
